This page was made in the days following the discovery of Jarod's illness and I have left this page up in his memory. Jarod was proud to be a Point Pleasant Big Black no matter what uniform he put on and we will always continue to try to honor his memory at Point Pleasant High School.

     I am praying for your complete recovery. Keep a positive attitude, and I
truly believe you will pull through this. Here's hoping you and your family

contracted Lacrosse encephalitis last august and it was devastating to have to
deal with such a terrible
illness. God will take care of you. Prayers got us through this terrible
ordeal. The power of prayer is amazing. Take comfort in knowing that people
that you don't even know are praying for Jarod and your family. Our son
recovered and we as a family made it through with our faith. You and Jarod will
also. My older son is also a senior football player. We are from Minford. AS

through. 3 yrs ago our son was diagnosed with T-Cell leukemia. While we did
not lose him, it is extremely hard just hearing a diagnosis like that. He is
still undergoing chemotherapy for his now. I will continue to lift your family in
prayer. Your son must have been an exceptional young man to have a friend who
is willing to go on a website like J.J Huddle and ask for prayer. He to will be
