Year Inducted: 2007

    Ed was an offensive tackle and defensive end (1949-1951). He was selected to play in the North-South All Star football game and received a four scholarship to West Virginia University. He lettered as a true freshman before enlisting in the Army for two years. Upon returning to WVU he played three more years as an offensive guard, being a co-captain his senior year. He served seven years as assistant football coach and head basketball coach at George Mason High School in Virginia, taking his 1966 basketball team to the state championship game. He coached at Oakton High School in Virginia for three years as an assistant in football and head track coach before returning to Mason County to serve as Director of the Vocational School for 25 years
