Robert "Bob" Schertzer

    Bob Schertzer was the football coach at Point Pleasant High School from 1952 until 1965 and had a career record of 74-56-4. Schertzer was a graduate of the famed Massillon High School in Ohio where he was the quarterback for three seasons and graduated in 1934. He was All-Ohio as both a high school athlete and a college athlete in both football and basketball at Massillon and Baldwin-Wallace. He had several outstanding football teams at PPHS including 9-1 (1956), 9-1 (1961), and 8-0-1 (1962). He was also an assistant coach on the basketball team.
